My Adult Observation

I am so glad summer is here. I was getting so bored of staying in the house most of the time because of all the snow we have had. Since I have been divorced for almost 6 months now, I was going back to dating men again. You know dating men is really hard to do when you are snowed in.

Now that summer is here I can do a lot more things outside. To me it is exciting to walk along the beach, ride horses, or just going fishing. Yes I have had a fling here and there, but decided no more of those. I had a fling one time and I found out he had a girlfriend on the side. No way was that for me. I found out he was 6 years younger than I was, after I broke up with him.

Now I am back to dating men, and I mean men that know how to treat you when you are out on a date. These men are the ones that will open up the door for you, pay your way to a movie, or treat you to a nice dinner. That is my definition of a man.

I hear some of my girlfriends saying that they dated this man and at the end of the story, they wanted a kiss and would be back the next night for some more. Now we all know what they wanted the next night. This is one of the reasons I am careful dating men that want a kiss right away, or try to shove their way in the door after a first date. I am sorry but I have higher standards than that and I will keep them that way.

If dating men means that much to some of my girlfriends, they can have all the men. I will suffer until I find the right one man. I do know I am not that bad looking and some men are always staring at me. As of last resort, I could search the net on those free dating sites, but I have heard those sites are not trustworthy. So why waste my time with looking at them. Besides, I have this one guy in mind that works in the same office as I do, and he is really good looking in my opinion. I just have to wait for the right time, and I need to get my nerve up to ask him out.
