My Adult Observation

I got an e-mail from an old friend that I used to go to high school with a few weeks ago. It was sort of odd to hear from him, especially after all these years. I was sort of shocked that he even knew where to get a hold of me. My address, and phone number has changed so many times in the past year, it was really amazing. I found out later that he had called my ex-husband and had asked him where he could get into contact with me. That isn't so surprising, my ex-husband would give out information to anybody who asked.

Anyway, he asked me if I was familiar with swinging. I was shocked that he would ask me such a thing. I told him yes, I knew what it meant, and asked him why. He said that he has been participating in swinging for about 2 years now, and thought it was great. He said that he was introduced to it when he was on an on-line dating site, and found his former friend from school there on the site. He had told me that he considered that friend as his idol back in school. He said that they had become friends again, and then his friend got him introduced to swinging.

I listened and talked with him for a long time. And we made a date to see each other later on in the week. When we did get together, we met at a restaurant to catch up. I was explaining to him about what was going on in my life right now. That I had gotten a divorce, and I was doing what I had always wanted to do. Working at home writing for a career. He said that he was happy for me, and glad that I had finally gone after what I wanted to do. He also confessed that he had always wanted to take me out, but couldn't cause I was married. He said that he wanted to cuddle me and tell me everything was going to be alright when I was going through a particular rough patch in my life about two years ago. I told him that I didn't realise that, I never knew that he felt that way. But now things and feelings have changed. I was telling him that I was with someone and was very happy where I was, and who I was with. He said that he was happy for me, and he said that he would probably stop swinging some time soon, he was getting tired of it.
