Mr. Goldsmith was a man in his seventies. He was a man of few words. But whenever he got frustrated with such things that were going against the society in general, he used to express his thoughts to his wife who would listen with the fullest of attention. “I hate swingers a lot”, started Mr. Goldsmith. It seemed that only he cared for the good of all and was quite helpless over the fact that the young generation is getting into all kinds of vices. “I am flabbergasted at the thought that how do they feel on the seventh heaven to have sex with so many men and women. Can they hold themselves up in high esteem after such deeds? But who cares for esteems these days? All are after money and honey. And this is true to most people that I have seen. There are a lot of guys and girls around who are swingers and they don't mind it either. And that is quite alarming. The parents of such children too don't mind it saying that these are the signs of 'high society'. So, this is the definition of a ‘high society for them. Strange, isn’t it? Nobody seems prepared for a simple living and high thinking. A 'high society' is what is more important to them than their kids' future. I haven't come across even a single guy who does not have a girlfriend. Such so-called people living in a ‘high society’ think that people will hold them in high esteem if they shed away the life-style of the lower class.” “The world is slowly but surely going towards destruction and none but we ourselves are responsible for that. The TV is contributing to it too. I have a question to ask. Can't a TV ad be shot without the help of a female? Does it require a female to sell a soup? Ok. One thing granted in favour of the females - they are the fairer sex and they need to look good. But does it require a female to sell blades needed for shaving, and that too for males? I think swingers take birth at such places where the females and males work together in the glamorous industry. And then it gives birth to all kinds of vices.” “I don’t agree with this that swingers are born only in the glamorous field. It is the attitude that is important. You can get tainted even at most respectable and worthy places of work.” Mrs. Goldsmith too put in her side of the story. “That is all OK, my dear”, said Mr. Goldsmith. “Why are you getting so hyper about this cruel reality? “Oh so, now it’s me who is getting hyper ha. OK. Now forget these things and join me over dinner.”
